I have always seen pictures of this model and always thought it was much bigger. Probably is in it's original form, this model is built from the embryo plans for here theplanpage.com/things/pb/pb.htm. I can see how this will be a very scaleable model and I would love to do a micro electric RC with this in some form.

My first real flights have been perfect! No balance issues at all right off the plans!? Does that happen? With a good design it does! I have to say that I did make some slight mods from the plan: I used 1/32 sheet for the wing ribs and did not sheet the midsection of the wing either. No real need as it is plenty strong enough for the slight weight of the ship. I am going to rebuild the rudder and elevator because of a bad warp. This time I will pre shrink the tissue before I apply it. I am going to recommend this plane, it was fun to build and flies very well right off the plans.

Specs Wingspan: 16"
Length: 13.5"
Weight: 0.8 oz
Motor: 15" loop of 1/8
Prop: 6"

Since I don't have any
actual flying pictures yet.
A good shot to show the
size and cool little wheel pants.
As you might be able to see above, the elevator is warped and I could not steam it out. Decided to make a new set. Check out the color printed tissue demo.
